Supporting Growth, Strengthening Connections

At Valeo Mental Health LLC, children, teens, and families are supported in navigating life’s challenges, building meaningful connections, discovering their strengths, and growing toward greater well-being. Valeo means “to be strong, to be well, and to thrive”—a reflection of the belief that strength isn’t about having everything figured out or facing hard things alone. Through a warm, collaborative, and developmentally responsive approach, therapy offers space to feel understood, build on existing strengths, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful growth and connection.
Hi, I’m Steph! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist™ who works with children, teens, and families. My approach is warm, creative, and relationship-focused, with an emphasis on creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and able to be yourself.
With children, I use play, art, and creativity to help them express what can be hard to put into words, while partnering with caregivers to strengthen connection and better understand behavior. With teens and caregivers, therapy may look more like conversation, reflection, creativity, and practical support. Above all, I believe in helping people discover their strengths, deepen their connections, and find their own path forward.
